This picture is of the carina Nebula. What is special about this picture is that I was able to get the raw data captured by the James Web Telescope and edit it into a viable picture with Pixinsight. The challenge with working with James Web raw data is the it comes with 6 color filters (The standard RGB ,Red, Green, Blue, but also cyan, Orange, and yellow. This requires special processing which I am still learning how to do.
Also known as the "Eight-Burst Nebula", C74 is a striking example of a planetary nebula, an expanding cloud of gas surrounding a dying star. At a distance of about 2,000 light-years, it is one of the nearest known planetary nebulae. The gases are expanding away from the central star at a speed of 9 miles per second.
The Heart Nebula (also known as the Running dog nebula, IC 1805, Sharpless 2-190) is an emission nebula, 7500 light years away from Earth and located in the Perseus Arm of the Galaxy in the constellation Cassiopeia. It was discovered by William Herschel on 3 November 1787. It displays glowing ionized
